There is a choice of lantern workshops taking place this year to make a lantern for Ventnor lantern parade, which is on Thursday 17th December at 5.45pm. Ventnor Carnival Queens Float is leading the parade this year.

You will have time to complete a lantern in one session, or if you prefer, make the frame at one session and come back to another session to finish it. They are taking place at Youth Centre on Victoria Street

· Saturday 5th December from 1pm – 4pm · Friday 11th December from 4pm – 7pm · Saturday 12th December from 1pm – 4pm

· There is also a Giant Lantern workshop on 12th December from 10am – 4pm – either for those with some experience or a group working together, to make some extra special lanterns!

All adults and families are welcome to attend, but no unaccompanied children please.

The cost is just £4 per lantern and this includes a battery light (£8 for a giant lantern).
