When Nurit Yardeni first started taking photographs some thirty years ago, she set out to capture the very soul of her subjects.

Since then, she has made photographic expeditions to many countries among them Ghana, Nigeria, Tunisia, Gabon, Togo, Kenya, Ethiopia, Namibia, Indonesia, Mongolia, Nepal, Tibet, Bhutan, Brazil, Bolivia, Guatemala, Peru, China, India, Burma,Cambodia, Thailand and Vietnam.

In all these, she seeks the essence of love in communities where individuals have a primal connection with their environment and society.
