Introduction to Watercolours with Polly Zanardi

Participants will be shown basic watercolour techniques and we will use them to create watercolour studies of natural forms such as plants, flowers and leaves which can be used to develop your skills at home.

There will also be things collected on the beach such as driftwood and stones if plants don't appeal! We will look at different ways to apply watercolour to create effects such bleeding, washes and which brushstrokes to use to create foliage and depth.
