On the very day of the opening of the brand new Mary Rose Museum in Portsmouth, Ventnor is hosting a day of talks and celebrations of life on board Henry V111's flagship.

Trevor Sapey of the 'Mary Rose Trust' will be giving a thrilling talk to children from 2pm about a sailor's life in those long ago times followed at 6.30 by music and equally enthralling tales for grown ups called:

"A SAILOR'S LIFE and death ON THE MARY ROSE"

The children's event will be free. (donations for the Trust welcome.)

The later performance will be £2.50 with refreshments available.
