Ferry Tales is a community-based project which links the Isle of Wight to mainland ports, through the inter-connection of verbal, aural and visual arts. Poets, Robyn Bolam and Lydia Fulleylove and singer-songwriters, JC Grimshaw and Dom Prag will involve groups – from ferry travellers to the socially and physically isolated – in making songs and poems exploring significant arrivals and departures in their lives, using commissioned photographs by Mark Lanigan. Come along to hear and see the works created during this brilliant and innovative project.
