The Rotary Club of Ryde is holding a Fireworks Extravaganza on Saturday 5 November at Smallbrook Stadium, Ryde.
Gates open at 6pm and there will be ample car parking for all who wish to attend. The fireworks will be run by Titanium Fireworks, one of the largest operations in the UK, and they are confident that this will be the safest, biggest and best display on the island.
The evening of family fun will start at 6.15 pm with DJ Mick Weston and children’s entertainer Stevo the Magician, followed by the very popular Bloodstone Border Morris Dancers and Wight Diamonds Marching Band. The firework display will commence at about 8.30pm with the countdown by The Mayor of Ryde, Henry Adams.
The bar will kindly be supplied by Smallbrook Stadium and the barbeque and soft drinks will be organised by Ryde Rotary Club members and partners.
The entrance fee is £5 per person and, all of these funds, together with the profits from the barbeque will go to Ryde Rotary Club and be donated to local charities and good causes.
Ryde Rotary President, Alan Truckel, said
‘This represents excellent value for a fantastic evening’s entertainment in a safe environment and we hope to make it an annual event.’
