A special ceremony of remembrance is taking place at the Riverside Centre next Thursday.

"A Service of Celebration, Love & Memories” gives people the opportunity to remember loved ones they have lost at Christmas time.

The service will be officiated by Independent Celebrant, Caroline Ash and is free to attend, although there will be a collection in aid of KissyPuppy.

This time of year can be really difficult for those of us who have lost loved ones, and the remembrance service will allow people to come together and seek comfort at Christmas time.

The service will include readings, poems and live music from saxophonist, Marie Smith. There will also be the opportunity for people to write a personal message and light a candle for the loved one they are remembering.

"A Service of Celebration, Love & Memories” is at 7.30pm on Thursday 10th December at the Riverside Centre.
