Our programme of Teatime Tales cleverly combines engaging talks with delicious food.

Island writer Jan Toms celebrates the publication of her 20th book. In the year 1648, Carisbrooke Castle was the most important place in Britain as King Charles 1st became the prisoner of the governor, Robert Hammond. This is the first biography to be written about Hammond, his early life, his military career and his momentous part in the English Civil War.

Each talk takes place at the Tea Room and includes a Victorian high tea. Price £8 or £15 for two, advanced booking advised, call us on 01983 756814.
