The Jam were one of the most iconic bands of the punk rock era. From The Jam have emerged from the chrysalis of that band to deliver all the hits in raging good form.

Going Underground, Town Called Malice, Down in the Tube Station at Midnight, Beat Surrender. These are the rock anthems that shaped a generation and continue to hold currency. And our grand finale in the Festival Marquee on Sunday 21 April will be the kind of incendiary live performances that sealed the reputation of The Jam.

Bassist Bruce Foxton heads From The Jam. A part of the English rock and roll establishment, Bruce was a driving force powering the rhythm section in The Jam. His versatility is evident, taking lead vocals on David Watts and News Of The World. After The Jam split, he had a hit with the single Freak and collaborated with other musicians, before spending 15 years with another seminal British band, Stiff Little Fingers.

Russell Hastings, who has been working with Rick Buckler since November 2005, has thrilled audiences nationwide this year with his authentic and passionate interpretation in performance (vocals and guitar) of The Jam's back catalogue. Energy, pride, execution and dynamic delivery remain his hallmarks as he continues to collaborate with Bruce as From The Jam.

From their debut in 1977, in just five tumultuous years The Jam had amazing chart success with 18 singles and 7 albums to make the UK top 40. Their last five albums were all top ten hits and their last eight singles made it into the top 10.

What a way to finish the festival!
