THE CHORUS (2004 - French subtitled)

The film is set in France in 1949 at a boys reformatory school, where a newly arrived ex-music teacher tries to create a choir from a group of raucous and bewildered kids.

This is a beautifully directed debut film by Christophe Barratier and stars Gerard Jugnot.

The film will be introduced with a short talk by Tim Nicholson.

Tickets are £2.50 per person on the door and there is a bar open for the evening performances.
