Shorwell Midsummer Fair is celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2010.

This traditional village fair has always been uncommercialised and the many attractions, stalls and events are run by local people and the money raised, £6000 in 2009, goes to local organisations and groups.

It is held in the grounds of North Court, Shorwell, a 16th century manor house.

There will be reminders of the 1960s, when the Fair started, and with free parking and cheap admission, it is not to be missed.
