‘The Bluetones’ are coming to Strings Bar & Venue on Friday the 7th of April 2023!

Lead singer Mark Morriss will be accompanied by guitarist Adam Devlin for this stripped-back acoustic show. Together they’ll be playing a 90 minute run-through of Bluetones classics such as ‘Slight Return’ and ‘Marblehead Johnson’.

For those that don’t know, ‘The Bluetones are an English indie-rock band, formed in Hounslow, Greater London, in 1993. The band has scored thirteen Top 40 singles and three Top 10 albums in the UK charts.

The band signed to A&M Records in 1994 and released their debut album ‘Expecting to Fly’ in 1996, which entered the UK album chart at number one, and featured the singles 'Bluetonic' and 'Slight Return', with the latter climbing to #2 on the UK single charts.’ This small run of acoustic shows will be the only chance for fans to let their hair down to the Bluetones back catalogue live in 2023.
