The Comenius Project, funded by the British Council, brings together over 5000 children aged 5 – 17 aims to promote learning about different cultures through joint projects and visits.
This exhibition was created by ten schools from five countries including Italy, Latvia, Malta, Poland, and two Island schools; Lake Middle School and Sandown High, presenting a ‘snap shot’ of the vast range of activities undertaken based on the theme: ‘Saving Energy, Saving the World’.

Spoleczne Gimnazjum Doliny Strugu, Chmielniku, Poland
Lake Middle School, Isle of Wight
Sandown High School, Isle of Wight
This exhibition has been put together with the help of Year 11 L1 Science students at Sandown High School, Anthea Fairey, project co-ordinator, Chris Ball, Assistant Head Lake Middle School and the Young Enterprise team at Carisbrooke High School.
