The Choir is visiting the Island for the first time, carrying out workshops in schools and performing concerts. The Choir is drawn from the schools of the Molly and Paul Childcare Foundation (registered NGO/charity in Uganda), which runs schools, homes, and a clinic, and looks after 1,200 children, many of them orphans or destitute, who would otherwise have no access to education or regular food. The annual UK tour - the first since the Covid pandemic struck - raises funds essential for the education and feeding programmes.
