The Band of Recorders is a group of friends on the Island who enjoy making music on recorders. This ancient range of instruments creates pure yet complex sounds which helps to focus the listener on the beauty and intricacy of the composition.

It is equally effective as a solo instrument or in ensemble, accompanied or not.

Our repertoire includes music from the 16th century to the present day; Elizabethan writers, baroque, classical, folk song and dance arrangements and contemporary pieces. Expect works from Gibbons, Handel, Haydn, Marg Hall and Glen Shannon.
