For one week only each year NorthCourt Manor open their gardens, and part of the seventeenth century house, in order to raise money for the Earl Mountbatten Hospice.

Your ticket will re-admit you during the event. Tea & light refreshments available.
1643: Sir John Leigh is glad to return to the Island from an England riven by Civil War. But Wight is swarming with parlimentary troops, and no life is untouched by the conflict.
Includes demonstrations of pike drill, period cooking, courtly dancing, high drama, low skullduggery and a notorious 17th century villain. Recent events:
* Sir John Oglander was arrested last week
* The officer that arrested Oglander was found murdered at the Hare and Hounds two nights ago. Colonel Carne is investigating.
* Marriage of John Drayton to Araminta Urry at Arreton yesterday. The newlyweds are going to work for Lady Oglander at Nunwell.
* Sir Humphrey Bennet may be at large on Wight once more.
* Last night a phantom coach drawn by a headless horse was seen near Carisbrooke by one musketeer Christopher Tydeswell.
* A similar vehicle was seen on fire falling off the cliffs at Yarmouth.
