Astronomy with binoculars open evening

Everyone is encouraged to bring along their binoculars and take part on a family-friendly star-gazing evening.
Refreshments will be available.
A talk will include: - How do binoculars work? - What do the numbers on them mean? - What are their advantages (and shortcomings) in astronomy? - How useful are binoculars for casual stargazing?
So, dress up warm and come along to learn how to make the most of your binoculars for enjoying the night sky.
