The Isle of Wight Ramblers invite you to our Festival Day on Monday 6th May 2024 in East Cowes.

This is an opportunity for you to say where you think the England Coast Path should go.

The King Charles III Coast Path, a new national trail, is being created around England's coast, but we are being told to walk along the busy main roads - why?

There will be an open meeting at the Town Hall from 10.30 am with displays showing all the issues.

At 11.30 am there will be a meeting chaired by Kate Ashbrook, Vice-President of the Ramblers, when we welcome all local views.

At 1pm we are celebrating Ramblers successes so far at Jubilee Recreation Ground with a picnic in the park.

Then we will rally outside the Osborne estate gates to show our concern at the proposed inferior route for the Coast Path. Please join us.
