This FREE Exhibition is open for one day only from 11am to 4pm. On display will be 12 different vitreous enamel plaques which will be installed at 12 locations around the Hooke walking trail around Freshwater area.
Robert Hooke was born in Freshwater in 1635. He went on to become one of England's greatest scientists. He was also an engineer, architect, biologist, meteorologist, astronomer, artist, craftsman and inventor. Each plaque illustrates in Images and text different facets of this amazing man's career.
Robert was often referred to as England's Leonard!
