Using the wide variety of leaf shapes and colours in the Gardens at this time of year as our starting point students will make a selection to work from looking At shape,structure and colour.

These qualities will be interpretated in the making of 2D and 3D pieces of handmade felt.

Starting with wool fibres you will learn the basic principles of wet felting progressing to moulding and forming additional elements such as spikes,stalks,stems and tendrils.Colour and surface will also be considered.

£40 per person / suitable for all abilities

All materials and equipment will be provided by the tutor with a small charge payable on the day
