Wake the Wight are an Island inter-faith group who are holding an event on Saturday October 15th from 10am until 3pm at the Unitarian Church in Newport.

Frack Free IOW will be there in the morning holding a drop in session with a new presentation and Q & A afterwards.

You are then invited to a talk given by members of Wake the Wight about 'Standing Rock' and the situation currently happening in North Dakota and how that threatens water supply and Native American sacred lands and way of life. A ceremony will then follow. You are very welcome to stay or attend any part of the day that you wish to. Please see the poster for more details.

Frack Free IOW will be opposing any attempt to drill for fossil fuels on the Isle of Wight by peacefully and lawfully engaging with the democratic process.
