A group of policemen, a doctor and a prosecutor take a confessed killer to locate a body buried in the desolate Anatolian plain. Thelawmen, initially relaxed, become increasingly frustrated at the killer’s inability to find the corpse. The film becomes a drama of disillusion and thwarted desires; whilst the doctor becomes the sole repository of the film’s moral sense.
