In the second of this year's meetings, hear about the exciting work going on in Ryde District Heritage Centre.

Ryde artist Brian Puttock will then give an illustrated talk on his drawings for Island author Cathy Bowen's book, 'The Hunting of the Snark concluded', an intriguing continuation of Lewis Carroll's epic poem. There will also be a Raffle.

Entry is free to HRS members; a small donation is requested from visitors.

Ryde District Heritage Centre

Proceeds from the evening will go towards the upkeep and expansion of the Heritage Centre, in the Royal Victoria Arcade, Union Street, Ryde.

The Centre is open from 11am to 4pm, Monday to Saturday.

Admission: Adults £1, under 16s and HRS members free.
