We own the Caulkheads pub and Fort holiday park in Avenue Road Sandown Isle of Wight and for 'children in need' this year we are hoping to raise more than the £2251 we raised last year.

Last year we raised more than £2200 for Children in Need.

We hope to smash this record this year with our next event.

We'll be having a circus parade made up of locals, pub staff and local children all in circus fancy dress.

We will be pulling a trailer/float made up to look like a circus big top/animal cage which will have the local kids dressed up as animals which will be let loose occasionally to collect donations.

This will be taking place on Saturday 12th November in Sandown High Street Approx. 11am to 1pm, Shanklin Regent Street Approx. 1pm to 3pm and Ryde High street and Union Street Approx 3.30pm to 5:30pm

This will be followed on Friday 18th November by turning the Caulkheads pub garden into an 'angry birds style game' with enormous catapult to knock down the prizes at the other end.

In the evening we will have David Randini entertaining, loads of games, knockout darts and pool, professional face painting and a disco with raffle and auction - any donations / prizes gratefully received.
