The charming (if somewhat bizarre) story of a lonely teenager with artificial hands in the shape of scissors who is taken in by a kind lady. Unfortunately Edward upsets the small community where he lives by his outlandish behaviour but now before he falls in love. Depp is superb as the strange Edward, whose gentleness makes the movie a deeply moving experience.
