So here it is...we have lasted a year somehow! Yes it's Headfunk 1st Birthday Party action time. A year ago we were planning our first assault on the Marine and my god didn't they fell the full force of the Headfunk Massive.

So for our first year anniversary we are having 'The Headfunk Recycled Birthday Party'. You've had a year to get your fancy dress box in tiptop shape, so now you can dive into and put on what you like...Stars and Stripes, Fur and Feathers, Shimmer and Sparkle, Sun and Surf, Wigs and War-paint, Beards, Bows, Bells and Bunnies, Monsters and Masquerade or Flags or Flowers. Or try and put something from each party on? You know Monkey Boy will be! I'm looking forward to stripy bunny wigs, feathery surfing monsters and bearded flowers.

As it's a birthday party, there will be cake and pressies on offer (but only to the early arrivals! Get there before 10.30pm!)). CDs, badges, shakers and more...Also there we are doing a warm up party down at the Ryde Regatta stage, with The Hat and The Duke spinning some tunes and hosting the stage from 6ish to 9ish (There is a bar down there this year!)

This is going to be the last Headfunk party for a couple of months as we take a summer hiatus to refresh, renew and reinvent, so make sure you make the effort and come out to the best night of dancing and laughing you can have for free.
