As part of the Show Must Go On festival, from 5pm onwards at Rio's, the friendly café/wine bar in Pier St Denzil will be performing Spanish & Flamenco guitar music.

Background on The Show Must Go On

That’s the attitude taken by several Ventnor businesses to the announcement that the Ventnor Jazz Festival had again been cancelled. Said Jackie Milne of The Ale & Oyster and joint co-ordianator V-Bay Festival 2009 & 2010.

“Drawing from the experience of our highly successful V-Bay Festival Music Day last October when local artists had the chance to showcase their talents throughout the town, I contacted several local venues and we’ve arranged a full programme of live music by Island artists throughout the town.

Accommodation has been booked for some time by visitors to attend the jazz festival and we’re determined, as a town, not to let them down!”
