Bring your children to listen to Jules' latest book, Fidget, the owl who won't eat owl food. Afterwards, make a crafty pizza on a paper plate, 'cook' it in the cardboard pizza oven and take it home to show everyone.
The story of Fidget is a really good way to talk about picky eating. Most little people go through this phase at some stage, so it's great to know you're not alone!
Tickets are £1 to help towards the cost of glitter/sequins/tissue paper etc and can be obtained from the library.
For more info, you can phone 01983 823823.
Jules is a local author, famous for 'Royal Fleas' and 'Nature Calls'. She lives in Newport among the pot holes, with her husband, two increasingly large teenagers and two small hungry dogs.
