Deborah Rose's timeless voice and poignant songwriting are spiced with the mystic energy gained from her Welsh roots and inspiration from some of the world's most gifted poetic minds. Deborah recently accompanied folk legend Judy Collins on the UK leg of her world tour and opened the Big Top stage at the Isle of Wight festival. Judy Collins said she had "One of the finest voices I've heard".
Deborah says "I had never visited the island before 2009, until I got asked to open the Big Top Stage at The Isle of Wight Festival by John Giddings .. and since then I haven't stopped returning!
"Recently I enjoyed playing with talented island musicians Adam Kirk and Paul Armfield. I [was also] invited to Farringford to celebrate Tennyson's 200th anniversary where I performed with classical guitarist Harry Verey. Performing at FolkStation in 2010 was also a lovely occasion in summer 2010."
