Celebrate the Spirit of the Season at the Brighstone Christmas Tree Festival Brighstone, Isle of Wight

The Brighstone Christmas Tree Festival is back, spreading joy and festive cheer with the main festival running from Thursday, 7th December to Sunday, 10th December, and select venues running throughout the month of December (please refer to our website for specific venue days and times).

This cherished event, now in its 27th year, promises a festive experience like no other. To kick off the festivities, the ‘Lights of Love’ carol service will be held on Wednesday, 6th December at 7pm in St Mary’s church, Brighstone, supporting the Mountbatten Hospice.

A heart-warming start to an enchanting celebration. This year, over 150 beautifully decorated trees will be on display, showcasing the creativity of local charities, not-for-profit organisations, and businesses. The festivities will unfold across 10 venues in West Wight, providing an opportunity for the community to come together and revel in the joy of the holiday season.

Activities abound for all ages, including a delightful nativity pageant at the Brighstone Methodist church, a festive night-time tractor ride out from the Isle of Wight Pearl to Calbourne Mill, Christmas quizzes and raffles, special visits from Father Christmas, captivating festive storytelling by the fire, live musical performances, craft markets, entertaining local acts, face painting, and delectable homemade refreshments.

There will be a free park and ride service offered by FYT bus, donations very much welcomed towards supporting this community lifeline in West Wight. The true spirit of the season shines through as all proceeds go towards supporting charities and good causes on the island.
