Emerging island based photographer, Christian Carter-Stephenson, is organising a solo exhibition of his work at Ryde library in September.

The exhibition will feature eighty never before seen images of local scenes that others tend to overlook, either because they are off the beaten track, or because they evoke troubling feelings.

Instead of the usual tourist hotspots, you will see another side of the island... a darker side. Death and decay feature heavily, but there is also a haunting beauty that cannot fail to create a lasting impression. Copies of the pictures are available to buy in various edition limits.
