Island Singer Songwriter launches his second CD album.

Andy Roberts performs solo at the Newport launch of new CD "The Rowan Tree" at the Music Hub, 98 High Street, Newport on Friday March 25th from 7-9pm with refreshments, nibbles and b.y.o.b.

"The Rowan Tree" features some of his most popular folklore ballads, Songs of the Sea and more traditional sounding music than his newer compositions.

eg The Last Nail, Wreckers' Prayer, The Witchy Witches, Cajun Cooking

Andy writes, sings and plays guitars on the album and is accompanied on many of the tracks by Becky Haydock, violin and Geoff Peckham, multi-instrumentalist.
