Visit the Museum of Island History on Thursday 14 September (10am – 1pm).

The museum provides an introduction to the history of the Isle of Wight from fossils to festivals. There are also a number of changing exhibitions that have all been prepared with the assistance of young volunteers.

Come and fine out more about the Wight Rodeo Riders a horseback display team that were based on the Island but toured Great Britain from the 1920s to 1939. We have new images by Sandown photographer James Dore - depicting rural life on the Island. And a small exhibition with images and artefacts depicting Historic Newport.
