Freshwater Library had their official opening of the new building on 16th November 1939.

To celebrate 70 years of service to the people of West Wight, the library is putting on a display about its history, and through old photographs showing how Freshwater would have looked 70 years ago.

The display will be at the library throughout the week of 15th November, and at 11 am on the 16th itself you are welcome to join staff in the library to cut and share a celebratory cake.
