Nurdle

We are collecting nurdles for projects and as it is world ocean day we thought a relaxed walk from Brook to Compton looking for nurdles ( plastic pellets on the way) might be a informal way to celebrate. We will meet at Brook NT car park at 6pm, have a quick H and S talk and start walking and nurdling...

Note: This walk is suitable for children over 5. All children remain the responsibility of the parent throughout the event. We especially ask that you stay away from the cliff faces and only collect away from these. We also ask you ensure you collect with your child to ensure they do not pick up anything sharp or harmful from the strandline. Thank you.

If you would like to dress up as your favourite ocean creature or something with an ocean theme please do!

What to bring:

You can being a dustpan and brush or a sieve and if you have one, a plastic pot with a lid for your nurdle finds.

If you have gardening or protective gloves please bring some though we have spares on the day

You may want to bring hand sanitiser for after.

Please bring your water bottle, and layers suitable for the weather. Please wear suitable shoes ideally trainers , shoes that cover your toes.

We will collect the pots from you at the end or when you've finished walking, come and find one of us and will we collect from you.
