Crime writer, Pauline Rowson author of the marine mystery series of crime novels featuring Inspector Andy Horton will be presenting prizes to the adult winners of The Wight Fair Writers Circle, Winter Short Story Writing Competition at an Awards Ceremony on 21 December 2010 at The New Church Reception Rooms, Castlehold, Newport.

The competition is organised by the Wight Fair Writers' Circle. Proceeds from the competition are going to the Love Russia Charity, The Multiple Sclerosis Society and The Barely Born Appeal.

Prizes have been donated by many businesses on the Isle of Wight and the mainland of Portsmouth and Southampton and one of the winners of the under 12's and teenage category will have their story published in the Isle of Wight County Press while other winning stories will appear VentnorBlog.
