Cowes Library hosts a monthly Philo Café and the next meeting will be from 7 - 9pm.This is a Supporters of Cowes Library event, sponsored by the Society for the Furtherance of Critical Philosophy (www.sfcp.org.uk), and is for anyone interested in taking part in philosophical discussion that matters in our lives, but in a casual way.

No academic knowledge in philosophy is needed. Subjects are discussed from our own experiences. Topic to be discussed: 'When is it, if ever, acceptable to lie?'
