Lost at Sea is delighted to present an incredible double bill of comedy at Quay Arts, featuring Edinburgh Comedy Award nominee and TV star Andrew Maxwell, and Benny Boot, hailed by critics and comics alike as one of the UK’s greatest and most original joke writers.

ANDREW MAXWELL
Andrew is renowned for his fearlessly intelligent array of topical observations, delivered in his animated and inclusive style. As well as his continued dominance on the live circuit, Andrew is currently working on Public Enemies for BBC Radio 4, a series of challenging stand-up shows where he uses his trademark intelligence and political incisiveness to dig behind the clichés and assumptions about four 'slow news' bugbears that are vilified and consumed with equal vigour in British society: Nationalism, The Internet, Drugs and The Food Industry.

Andrew also presented an extremely well received documentary for BBC3, Conspiracy Coach Trip, as well as starring in Sky’s John Bishop’s Only Joking, BBC’s Live At The Apollo, Dave’s One Night Stand, Live Edinburgh Comedy Marathon, Have I Got News For You and Mock The Week.

BENNY BOOT
Benny’s unique style and unconventional comedic delivery proved irresistible to Edinburgh Fringe-goers and he sold out every single seat during his month run at last year’s festival.

Benny has been branded the next ‘comic’s comic’, with the likes of Tim Minchin, Jimmy Carr and Marcus Brigstock all now firmly part of Benny’s ever-growing fan club. A stalwart performer at many of the major comedy festivals around the world, Australian born Benny was a UK finalist on NBC’s Last Comic Standing and recently performed on Dave's One Night Stand. He will also soon have a one-hour TV special to his name.
