Roger Silsbury and Eric Sieler will each be giving an illustrated talk on railways. Roger, is a lifelong railway enthusiast, lives opposite the old station in St Laurence and has family connections to the railway and the local area.

He is co-author of a series of books detailing the history of the Island's railways and has written articles and other books about British railways.

Eric will talk about the Great Western Society at Taplow and Didcot; The Bluebell Line, and other preserved lines as well as the IW Steam Railway.

This is a great opportunity for rail enthusiasts to hear from experienced speakers who have given years of their time to closely follow the changes that have come about for British travel.

Admission is £4 to include light refreshments. Ample parking close to the Church and disabled parking spaces in front of the church.
