A collection of 'Island' inspired poems and photographs from two local artists- Harrison Wavell & Sam Scadgell. Friends since early childhood, Harrison and Sam have sought to capture something of the relationships that bind us, not only to each other but to the places that have formed and shaped our identities.

This series of poems and images creeps along our shores and into the heart of island life and landscape.

Much of the nostalgia and longing heard in the poems by Harrison can be attributed to the fact that most were written from foreign shores whilst fondly recalling the place that is home.

The accompanying photographs were produced retrospectively in answer to the themes elaborated on in the poetry and seek to evoke Sam's own sense of the Island.
