NCFE LEVEL 1 AWARD: An Introduction to Carnival MasQuerade

Starts: Monday 25 February for 5 weeks, 6.30pm to 9.30pm

Cost (including accreditation) only £55 AT the Learning Centre, Westridge, Ryde

An ideal beginners course to learn the basics of carnival costume making and much more.

The approach is very hands-on and informal with an emphasis on learning simple transferable skills, suitable for taking into a classroom situation or for sharing with friends and family.

The course will cover designing and making costumes using simple techniques (no sewing involved), but also learning about materials, tools and equipment and the culture and development of carnival.
