Trios include Beethoven’s Ghost trio and Mendelssohn’s D minor piano trio Duets and solos from Elgar, Chopin, Granados, Brahms, Handel/ Halvorsen, Vaughan Williams, Billy Meyerl, William Kroll and others.

For the fourth year Richard plays his Stradivarius the ‘Dolphus’ with friends, to assist the Ventnor Piano Fund, which has raised over £4000 to date for a ‘South of the Island’ piano, to inspire young and old to learn and improve, and encourage top musicians to come and play here.

One donor has just presented the Fund with a £500 cheque.

‘So we’re soon in a position to ask for matching Government Funding’ says organiser Anthony Churchill. ‘ And in the evening concert the guest of honour is the Lord Lieutenant and his wife Fiona, here to honour Ventnor’s Richard Studt.

The acoustics are superb at St Catherine's Church, the new seats are comfortable.

The tickets are £10 for the Matinee 13:00-14:00 and £20 for the soiree 19:00-21:30

For the matinee the doors are open 1230, and for the soiree, doors open at 18:00

In the half an hour interval in the evening, a paying Wine/soft drinks bar is available.
