In conjunction with the IW Council’s museum service, an exhibition of Girlguiding IW memorabilia, photographs and art is being staged at the Museum of Island History, Newport Guildhall from the beginning of October through to Spring 2010.

For the art exhibition every member of Girlguiding IW was invited to submit an entry to be displayed and the several hundreds of entries form a “wall” of modern faces in contrast to the more formal photographs of yesteryear.

Also in the exhibition are a collection of uniforms, company colours and general Girlguiding memorabilia covering 100 years.
