1st June to 30th June
Photographic exhibition from last year's Rhythm Tree Festival.
Now in its third year the RhythmTree has established itself as the most talked about small music festival on the Isle of Wight.
Close to the village of Calbourne the festival site is in a beautiful rural location with ample car parks and camping areas.
Held over three days it showcases a diverse array of music genres and world instruments and is expanding its range again this year. Just walking around the site you can hear didgeridoo blowers, mbira players and samba percussionists.
Taiko, hang, djembe, dhol and tongue drummers. Throat and overtone singers with human beat-boxers. Native American flute sellers, jaw harpers and of course a wide selection of more familiar instruments. So... if you're up for hearing afro-beat, bhangra, latin, reggae, folk, rock, blues, klezmer, world fusion, electronica, dub, hip hop and the completely indefinable all on stage during an evening this festival is for you.
