Be inspired by the incredible building skills of the Romans, learn Roman construction techniques and make and decorate a miniature box flue tile to take home (these also make great pencil holders), younger visitors can make a flat tile - or just come along and be inspired by the Roman remains and make your own artistic clay creation.

Newport Roman Villa, a winged corridor farmhouse, has an incredibly well preserved bath suite. A fascinating site for all ages it includes a small Roman styled garden and display of archaeological finds.

Booking is not required but numbers in the activity room will be limited at busy times – if seats are not available we will provide a clay kit for you to create your masterpiece at home.

Entrance to the Villa between 10.00am – 2.00pm on these half term activity days will be £1 per person – this includes admission and all activities.
