ORIGINAL THEATRE presents The Telescope - a one act play by Island writer Kevin Wilson, and A Lady of Letters - the classic Alan Bennett monologue from his famous Talking Heads television series.

THE TELESCOPE gets its world première at the Fringe! It is an emotional story of the discovery of hope, played out against the constant presence of the grey sea. The cast includes Patrick Barry, Rebecca Brough, Kevin Wilson, and a brass telescope!

A LADY OF LETTERS, by Alan Bennett, features Jane Moore as Irene Ruddock - a single, middle-aged woman living near Bradford who is not afraid to speak, or rather write, her mind. This monologue was written for television in 1987.
