A gentle introduction to the art of bee-keeping and honey-making, from a long experienced and highly enthusiastic local expert.

Using real hives, Terry will explain and demonstrate:

• the bees themselves - the natural workforce,

• the equipment - putting together a hive and preparing the protective clothing and tools

• the products - honey, wax, pollen, and propolis

• caring for the brood - health, reproduction, swarming etc.
