Physical Theatre - IMPROVISATION (Workshop)

In this workshop we will conjure up imaginative and surreal performance worlds through playful exploration of our physical and vocal potential. Drawing on the techniques of Action Theater™, LeCoq and Keith Johnstone we will overcome the distractions of our inner self-critics thereby allowing us to play as freely and expressively as children.

From this fun, playful and disinhibiting approach to improvisation we will explore performance scores that are as fascinating and artful for an audience as they are in which to be fully present as a performer.

Please wear clothing that you can comfortably move in. No experience necessary. Although most exercises will involve movement this will be within the range of each individual participant's physical capabilities.
