Historic Ryde Society's first talk of 2016 with Richard Smout, IW Heritage Service Manager.

Richard will talk about events in Ryde during WWI. He has in the County Record Office first hand accounts from many different people and from many walks of life, which will bring alive the thoughts, fears and aspirations of the town's residents 100 years ago.
