Local photographers Christian Beasley and Sally Sturmey are holding a preview of their exhibition on Wednesday 4th from 6.00 - 8.00pm. At the preview canvases and prints will be available at a 15% discount.
The focus of their work is to show the beauty both of the Island and of the wider environment.
Christian has been a keen photographer for many years, and with the advert of high quality digital photography it has become his core interest. Last year he won the All Island Picture of the Year competition with an image from the annual Brambles Cricket match. Christian’s deep appreciation of the beauty of the Island is seen in his photos and in the title of his collection ‘Beautiful Wight’.
Sally grew up on the Island and describes herself as a documentary photographer. She has pursued photography as an art form, progressing from studies at ‘A’ Level through to University. She particularly enjoys themed photography projects. In her latest collection you will find David Hockney inspired pieces from around the Island and beyond.
